Where are you located?

Roots to Blooms operates in the South End of Halifax.

We operate by appointment only and don’t have a public storefront. Exact pickup details are provided after booking.

What are your hours?

Our Hours of Operation not including holidays, are:

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday-Friday: 6pm-9pm
  • Saturday: 9am-4pm
  • Sunday: 9am-2pm
Can I visit your store?

Unfortunately, no. Roots to Blooms is not a "Brick and Mortar" store. You are not able to browse plants in person. However, we can take plenty of pictures of the plants you are interested in. We want you to be happy with your purchases!

How do I get the plants that I want to buy?

Curbside pickup. When you checkout, you will be redirected to our checkout page. After submitting, we will contact you.

Generally, pickup is during our normal Hours of Operation. We try to be accommodating, but Roots to Blooms is a part-time business, so plants are usually not sold between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

We also sometimes offer delivery, but it is on a case by case basis.

How much is delivery?

Delivery fees depend on your location:

  • $5 Halifax Peninsula (Downtown, North End, South End, West End)
  • $8 Dartmouth (Urban Areas), Spryfield, Fairview, Purcell's Cove
  • $10 Burnside, Clayton Park, Bayer's Lake
  • $12 Eastern Passage, Cole Harbour, Portobello, Bedford, Timberlea, Harrietsfield, Herring Cove
  • $15 Lawrencetown, Preston, Waverley, Fall River, Sackville, Hammonds Plains, Sambro, Portuguese Cove
  • $20 East Lawrencetown, Porter's Lake, Prospect, Terence Bay

We will confirm a specific delivery time after receiving your order. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

When we arrive, we will wait 15 minutes for you to respond. If no response, your order will be returned and delivery fees may apply for each delivery attempt.
