Can I visit your store?

Unfortunately, no. Roots to Blooms is not a "Brick and Mortar" store. This means that you are not able to visit us to browse plants. However, we can absolutely take lots of pictures of the plants you are interested in and we encourage you to do so! Ultimately, we want you to be happy with your purchases.

How do I get the plants that I want to buy?

Curbside pickup or delivery. When you checkout (go to Shop ▶️ Houseplants), you will be automatically redirected to a Google Form. When you are finished filling it out, click Submit and we will be in touch with you shortly. Generally, you can only pickup your plants or have them delivered during our normal Hours of Operation. If you are unable to pickup or have your plants delivered when we are open, we will try to be as accommodating as possible. However, please understand that Roots to Blooms is a part-time business, so we usually cannot sell plants between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

How much is delivery?

It depends on how far away you are from us. Please see below.

Delivery Fees

Delivery to Halifax, Dartmouth, or Spryfield is $5.

Delivery to Bedford, Sackville (Middle and Lower), Bayer’s Lake, Timberlea, or Eastern Passage is $8

When we receive your order, we will contact you to confirm a specific time. If you need to reschedule your delivery, please message us as soon as possible.

When we arrive at your delivery location at the time you requested, we will contact you to let you know that we are there. We will then wait 15 minutes for you to message/call us back. If we do not receive a response, your order will be returned to Roots to Blooms. We understand that circumstances may arise that prevent you from receiving your order.

However, because we are a small business, we unfortunately must charge for each delivery attempt. For example, if 2 delivery attempts to Dartmouth have been made, a delivery fee of $10 will be applied to your order.
